We are delighted to be hosting a visit to the wonderful Bishopsgate Institute Library and Archive on Wednesday 7th November 2.30pm – 5pm. The Institute’s printed and archival collections cover a variety of subject areas and focus on the lives of everyday people, facilitating the study of history from below. They hold unique and nationally renowned collections, covering Protest and Campaigning, LGBTQ history, Feminist and Women’s History to name but a few.
The visit will be a tour of the Archive and Library, courtesy of the inspirational Library and Archives Manager Stefan Dickers. He will give a tour and a chance to learn about the Institute’s fantastic history and to learn about their notable archive collections.
